Education

B.Sc. in Mathematics (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). B.Sc. in Physics (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). M.A. in Astrophysics (Princeton University). Currently, a Ph.D. student in mathematics at Jacobs University Bremen. My Ph.D. research topic concerns representation theory of some infinite-dimensional Lie algebras. Note 1: The language of instruction is English. Note 2: I am available at two locations. Near my apartment on any day (PLZ 28215) or near Jacobs University Bremen on a weekday (PLZ 28759). Distances are measured from the nearest of the two locations. Note 3: Prices are negotiable, depending on the materials.

Experience

I have tutored high-school students and college students, both for regular courses and for competitions. I have been a teaching assistance for various courses such as Topology, Geometry, Combinatorics, Linear Algebra, Algebra, Stochastic Processes, Calculus, Numerical Methods, Numerical Analysis, Optimization, and Analysis. I am also a physicist. Statistical Physics, Relativity Theory, Quantum Mechanics, Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Astrophysics are no problems. During my high-school years, I have taken AP Biology and Advanced Chemistry. If you so wish, I can teach you the Thai language as well. I have participated in three major international competitions. I won a silver medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) Competition in 2002 in Scotland. I won a gold medal in IMO 2003 in Japan. In 2004, I participated in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) Competition and was awarded a gold medal. During my college time, I received honorable mentions in the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition of 2005, 2007, and 2008.
